Mah Jongg II is a simple but nice puzzle game in which you match identical tiles in order to eliminate them from the board. However, in order to match the tiles, they must be free, which means that they must not have another tile on top of them and they must not be blocked by tiles at their sides. You win the game when you clear the whole board and the game is over if there are no more available moves. There are two tiles sets to choose from. One is the Classic one, which has Chinese symbols and the other is the Simple one, which has numbers and letters.
The game has three levels of increasing difficulty, in which the tiles are arranged in a different way. For every correct match, you will be given points. If you get stuck, you can use the hints, which will reveal a pair, but some points will be deducted from your score. The game is timed, so the faster you complete the three games, the more scores you will get. Sadly, you cannot save the games, which is really sad because they could take you a while, and if you leave, you will get no score.
The game has very simple graphics, sounds are really annoying, and the music is very pleasant with a traditional Chinese track. Even though the quality is not very good, I recommend you play the game in full screen because the tiles are really small and some of them look alike. The game can also be played from your web browser and your score can be published on multiple social sites.
In short, if you like mahjongg games and you are looking for a free game to pass the time, Mah Jongg II can be a good choice.
